Boca Raton, Florida, December 13, 2018, Hotwire Communications joined forces with the Boca West Children’s Foundation (www.bocawestfoundation.org) to spread holiday cheer on December 8th, taking more than 160 kids shopping during Boca West Children’s Foundation’s 9th Annual Holiday Shopping and Holiday Party, serving the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boca Raton and Delray Beach.
Children were paired with a volunteer who helped them shop for $50 worth of clothing at Old Navy. After shopping, the kids were taken to the Boca West Country Club to enjoy a Disney-themed breakfast featuring “Toy Story” and “Frozen” characters before getting their picture taken with their own holiday toy from Santa Claus.
Volunteers ranged from dozens of Hotwire Communications employees to nearly 150 Boca West Country Club members, all of whom each had the opportunity to help the children pick out styles and accessories while getting to know them.
“Giving inspires giving, and participating in this event is another way we love to give to the kids at the Boys and Girls Club,” said Carl Lender, EVP of Fision Home. “We’re honored to support the Boca West Children’s Foundation and all of its volunteers for helping to put so many smiles on these young faces.”
Each child returned home with their new clothes; a toy from Santa; and a food basket filled with a ham, fresh vegetables, and all the fixings for a holiday meal. Food baskets and toys were provided through the generosity of BWCF partner PurePoint Financial.
