Purpose Statement:

An Account Manager maintains and builds relationships with the Boards as well as POA offices for assigned operational Hotwire properties. They are responsible for the overall good “health” of the property including customer satisfaction, service delivery and status of accounts receivable. An Account Manager is the key communicator between the company and the property.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Professionally and appropriately represents the company on site at their assigned properties
  • Cultivate relationships with the property management staff at the various communities and maintain regular site visiting schedule
  • Create relationships with VIP residents and cultivate a useful dialog
  • Be aware of and make contact with the various board members when appropriate. Account Manager must be responsive and tend to the client’s needs and requests
  • Account Manager must handle crisis situations in a professional manner and liaise with the property when technical difficulties arise from time to time informing the property when and how services will be restored and or improved
  • Handle escalations when necessary from residents
  • Ensure the client has an overall positive experience as it relates to Hotwire and the services they provide. Build relationships with all departments to ensure property has all needs met and maintained
  • Support events and other promotional activities at their assigned properties
  • Drive projects forward to meet the expectations of our properties and contractual obligations as needed
  • Demonstrates expansive knowledge of Hotwire Communications products and services
  • May assist internal leadership with creating strategies and sales plans
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

  • 2-4 years of telecommunications industry experience with account management experience preferred

Area Manager - Account Management
Purpose Statement:

Area Manager – Account Management will manage a team of 7 to 10 Account Managers including 1 to 2 Team Leaders who are responsible for the relationships and day to day management of our operations and interaction within contracted accounts in Miami-Dade Country.

The primary responsibility of the Area Manager is to directly support and manage the team of Account Managers to ensure each Account Manager is providing the highest level of customer service and positively representing the company. The Area Manager would interface and build relationships with both the Property Manager and Area Supervisor from each Management Company within Hotwire’s account portfolio. The Area Manager would maintain a high level view of each account to ensure all contractual/business terms are delivered and identify opportunities to increase sales penetration. The Area Manager is also responsible for all contract renewals in the area.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Account Management team is representing Hotwire in a positive manner and building strong relationships with the Property Management staff, Board of Directors and customers.
  • Ensure Hotwire is meeting all contractual commitments and customer service standards for each account.
  • Facilitate strong communication and collaboration between the internal departments including Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Marketing and Accounting to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain high level view of service standards and escalate issues accordingly.
  • Work with the Area Managers assigned to different regions to develop consistent processes and procedures for the Account Management Team.
  • Partner with the Area Launch Account Management Supervisor to ensure that all new development projects are transitioned successfully to daily operations.

  • Review penetration reports and work with the Account Manager to identify strategies/ideas to increase penetration for each account then work with Marketing and Residential Sales team to implement.
  • Oversee the services provided in the common areas of each account. Work with the Fision Plus team for any service issues or additional service requests.
  • Network and build positive relationships to develop sales leads in the region.
  • Attend all Condominium Meetings as needed/requested.
  • Attend all Condominium, HOA and Community Events that Hotwire participates in and/or sponsors.
  • Attend Networking or Chamber events as needed.
  • Manage all Account Management staffing needs. Work with Business Development/Launch to understand the projects coming and add additional team members as needed.

The Cable & Satellite TV Technician/Installer is responsible for quality installation practices including upgrades, disconnects and troubleshooting of all existing Hotwire services including IP and RF-based video, voice and internet. Must have experience with DISH and/or DIRECTV.

  • Fiber optic troubleshooting with 1310, 1490 and 1550 nm wavelengths
  • IP and LAN troubleshooting and solution methodologies
  • Router, Access point, Bridge and Wi-Fi administration
  • Performs reconnects, requested and non-pay disconnects, and changes of service, while adhering to: Hotwire Communications procedures and safe work practices in order to provide (or remove) services to the customer

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of small cell site construction on projects including; on-site management, coordination of subcontractors, OEM installers and customer representatives. The successful candidate will represent as the expert on construction issues relating to small cell projects, including public right-of-way Small Cells along with the associated inside and outside plant construction methods.  Oversight will include activities related to above and below-ground fiber installation, hub construction, node construction and related utility make-ready. Fiber Splicer Technician
Location: Naples & Fort Lauderdale, FL

Purpose Statement

Fiber Splicer Technician is responsible for the installation of new cable lines, both underground and on utility poles, and also performs maintenance on existing cables, including evaluation tests and repair. The Fiber Splicer Technician will prep and splice fiber optic cables, locate problem areas and perform other repairs as needed. Will also install and maintain network systems for private lines and determine solutions for any issues preventing the service from operating normally. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record. Candidate must be able to work overtime, nights and weekends.

Field Operations Supervisor

Purpose:

The Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating the overall installation and service activities for a team of Technicians in the Southeast Florida Region. Responsible for team management, effective resource utilization and ensuring sufficient skills, training and equipment are available for Installation/Service Technicians to successfully complete service orders and trouble tickets in a timely manner.

Purpose Statement:
The Operations Service Technician is responsible for quality installation practices including upgrades, disconnects and troubleshooting of all existing Hotwire services including IP and RF based video, voice and internet. Must have experience with DISH and/or DIRECTV.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Fiber optic troubleshooting with 1310, 1490 and 1550 nm wavelengths.
  • IP and LAN troubleshooting and solution methodologies
  • Router, Access point, Bridge and Wi-Fi administration
  • Performs reconnects, requested and non-pay disconnects, and changes of service, while adhering to: Hotwire Communications procedures and safe work practices in order to provide (or remove) services to the customer
  • Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience installing, testing and troubleshooting cable, phone and internet
  • Must have Fiber Optic Cabling experience
  • Must be proficient using small hand tools and larger power tools.

Customer Education:

  • Manage the Fision Education team to facilitate all product training as needed for each project in launch and normal operations.
  • Coordinate with the Launch Team to meet all product education requirements for each project in the launch phase including:
    • Larger product demonstration/presentations
    • One on one customer training
    • Ongoing customer education classes
  • Work with Account Management team to support continued customer education programs for existing accounts (in normal operations).
  • Develop standard customer training platform based on the most current features for consistency in customer education and formal presentations.
  • Note customer feedback or reoccurring issues and coordinate with the Marketing Team to update customer education marketing materials.
  • Discuss regularly with Account Management leadership all feedback or improvements to the customer education program and training schedules for the Fision Education Team.

 

Business Development/Formal Presentations:

  • Develop Fision product demonstration/presentation for Business Development meetings.

The Miami- Dade Area Manager – Account Management will manage a team of 7 to 10 Account Managers who are responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with our Fision properties throughout Miami-Dade County.   • Ensure Account Management team is representing Hotwire in a positive manner and building strong relationships with the Property Management staff, Board of Directors and customers.
  • Ensure Hotwire is meeting all contractual commitments and customer service standards for each account.
  • Facilitate strong communication and collaboration between the internal departments including Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Marketing and Accounting to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain high level view of service standards and escalate issues accordingly.
  • Work with the Area Managers assigned to different regions to develop consistent processes and procedures for the Account Management Team.
  • NEW CONSRUCTION PROPERTIES – Develop process for the Account Management team to facilitate a successful turnover from Developer to First Board of Directors.
  • Partner with the Area Launch Account Management Supervisor to ensure that all new development projects are transitioned successfully to daily operations.
  • Maintain all existing account contract expiration dates and manage the contract renewal process.
  • Ensure all account billing is accurate and all accounts in the area are current.
  • Review penetration reports and work with the Account Manager to identify strategies/ideas to increase penetration for each account then work with Marketing and Residential Sales team to implement.
  • Oversee the services provided in the common areas of each account. Work with the Fision Plus team for any service issues or additional service requests.
  • Network and build positive relationships to develop sales leads in the region.
  • Attend all Condominium Meetings as needed/requested.
  • Attend all Condominium, HOA and Community Events that Hotwire participates in and/or sponsors.
  • Attend Networking or Chamber events as needed.
  • Manage all Account Management staffing needs. Work with Business Development/Launch to understand the projects coming and add additional team members as needed.
  • Staff all properties to meet the goals of the area and be certain that each property is pleased with your staffing assignment

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Existing property management and multi-property supervisory experience preferred. Active CAM License in the State of Florida preferred.
  • Candidate must understand the fundamentals of the Cable TV and Internet Industry and be comfortable using and demonstrating all the features of a competitive product offering.
  • Candidate must have some public speaking skills and history, the ability to run meetings for Team and Customers.
  • Candidate must have experience dealing with Property Managers and Board of Directors.

Office Administration

  • Greet and welcome Naples office visitors warmly, respond to their requests and direct them accordingly
  • Answer all incoming calls and appropriately route to team members
  • Act as first point of contact to support and accommodate office employees and guests

  • Stock and maintain break room and restrooms

  • Manage multiple projects which involved new installations, migration and upgrades of data center-grade network implementations.
  • Manage multiple timelines and coordinate resources to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Develop technical requirements for various phases [initiate to close] of each project which requires extensive collaboration with management, construction, fiber, RF, head-end, network, voice, GPON, security, media-room and field engineers.
  • Identify and allocate appropriate resources for multiple projects across multiple business units.
  • Perform time and schedule management for over 20 engineers from varying subject matter expertise to ensure all technical objectives of the project are satisfied.
  • Coordinate with various business units to obtain and consolidate the status of on-going and upcoming projects facilitated by the Engineering Division.
  • Manage and chair weekly meetings with key project stakeholders including project managers, account managers and executive staff to communicate the overall progress of all projects.
  • Provide bi-weekly reports to the Vice President of Engineering on the status of all projects facilitated by the Engineering Division.
  • Perform quarterly forecast to identify future equipment needs based on the technical specifications for all business units.
  • Coordinate with the Logistics Division to ensure equipment is allocated to the correct project as well as updated the forecast based on any new contracts or changes to existing projects.
  • Perform problem management throughout the project lifecycle to proactively identify any issues and provide solutions to ensure that timelines are met and the quality of service not negatively impacted.
  • Create procedures and standardized workflows based on organizational needs and project objectives.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field.

Property Support Specialist

Must Be Bilingual in English and Spanish   Purpose Statement:   Support and coordinate the onsite duties associated with the launch, projects or upgrades of a property with a strong focus on outbound calling to schedule technicians and trainers for MSA surveys, installs, change orders and troubles. Additionally take normal inbound walk‐ins and respond to customers face to face in our remote office.   • Outbound calls to customers using Noble and scheduling tool to schedule MSA appointments.

  • Ensure that scheduled appointments get completed in a timely manner

  • Schedule/ assign installations to technician teams’ day prior to install
  • Print and distribute work orders morning of appointments
  • Ensure installation crews call in upon completion of job or return to base and provide pertinent information.
  • Provide concise clear and accurate communication to Provisioning department regarding any changes/edits to installation appointments
  • Follow documented procedures to close work orders, ensuring all equipment is accounted for and customer documentation is uploaded in Commsoft.
  • Schedule QC /training team to inspect installed home and provide training to customer
  • Obtain QC paperwork from QC team
  • Escalate any issues found in returned paperwork to Launch Manager

Quality Control Technician

Purpose: 

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for quality installation practices and customer training during installation of Hotwire services including video, voice, and internet

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for quality assurance inspections of head end facilities, OSP fiber, and installation practices during installation of Hotwire services launches including video, voice and internet
  • Ensures all installation work is done according to company quality standards
  • Performs necessary repairs
  • Facilitates field training for technicians on all Hotwire installed products and services
  • Assists with on-site inspections and personal protective equipment (PPE) inspections of technicians

  • Work with our Dispatch Department to scheduling escalation trouble tickets and installation appointments
  • Complete audits for the property when necessary for customer accounts

  • Escalate any issues found in the customer’s account or from a customer directly to the Account Manager

  • Associates Degree in General Business with at least six (6) months operational experience in project management or in the deployment of telecommunications systems (Voice, Video, Data and/or Security). Requires an excellent knowledge of all resources required to support our customers’, including internal team members, third party vendors, contractors and support teams
  • At least three years customer service experience

  • Ability to travel as travel may be required to remote, in-state locations for extended periods of time

  • Maintains quality service by selling appropriate solutions in keeping with Hotwire’s standards and identified Revenue and Penetration objectives

Hotwire Communications new Technology Concierge Group is seeking a Technology Concierge Apprentice to join their team!

As a Technology Concierge Apprentice, you will be responsible for consulting & installing Hotwire Communication’s suite of technology services, including Fision IPTV, Internet, Phone, Security, and our new line of Home Automation products. The incumbent will additionally work with the residential building management staff to assure success in all areas of our activation process for his assigned community. The position is a unique blend of sales, client management on top of the technical experience installing and setting up of connected devices.   • After lunch, maybe you’ll head on over to one of your colleagues assigned residential communities to lend a hand with a complex installation that includes the full suite of Hotwire’s products such as Fision Gigabit Internet, Wi-Fi network, Smart Bulbs, and more! All while chatting about what it took to consult on such a complex sale.
  • The team only gets stronger at our team meetings where your feedback from the field can have a big impact on the improvement of our internal teams.
  • To finish your day, by using our internal systems, close out your jobs, follow-up with any customers you owe a follow-up call to, and make sure the next day is planned out efficiently to make the most of your day. You might even want to have dinner with a customer.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consult with client during initial inquiry or installation on Hotwire’s suite of products.
  • Perform comprehensive, onsite residential technology equipment consultations & installations for our clients, including Fision’s Fiber-based IPTV, Internet, Phone, and consumer-grade home-automation systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relationships by ensuring timely responses to all inquiries for service needs.
  • Phone and in-person contact with customers to make recommendations on Hotwire’s Services.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and daily health checks for all systems and components, including but not limited to IDFs, MDFs. Correct problems identified and escalate high severity and chronic issues to appropriate teams
  • Perform quality checks on Fiber and/or Ethernet home-runs while the community is still under construction.
  • Review Client feedback and escalations. Addresses opportunities through direct communication with customers.
  • Provide complete System Certification and train end-user on complete system operation
  • Troubleshoot and make timely decisions in order to provide clients with immediate solutions without any downtime
  • Must be able to mount TV’s, speakers, and other equipment securely to walls / ceilings and must have some experience running cables in walls & through conduits
  • Travel to assigned clients as part of the Technology Concierge role is required
  • Participates in developmental training, certifications, and increased proficiencies of team.
  • Responsibly manage on site inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned

Purpose Statement

Telecommunications Construction Installation Technician is responsible for quality installation practices during installation of Hotwire services including video, voice and internet for commercial and residential applications including but not limited to common areas, IDFs and MDFs. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in installing and testing cable, phone and internet.  Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.  Candidate must be able to work overtime, nights and weekends.

 

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Installation and servicing of full video services, including analog, digital and HD TV. Must be proficient at using small hand tools and larger power tools.  Must be comfortable working on a ladder and all heights.
  • Ability to install all types of coaxial, Cat5 drop wire and fiber optics cable.
  • Ability to install connectors on all types of coaxial and Cat5 drop wire.
  • Ability to install customer premise equipment, modem, digital converter, configure VCR connections.
  • Installing, servicing, and disconnecting telephone and internet customers.
  • Ability to trouble shoot video, telephone and internet problems from any telecommunications mark to customer premise equipment.
  • Ability to configure, customers computers for internet operations.
  • Ability to install switches, access points and racks.
  • Punch down telephone lines.
  • Ability to test and tone all drop wires from equipment room to end user location.
  • Must have valid driver’s license with relative clean insurance record.
  • Must be able to work with or without direct supervision.

Purpose Statement

The Technical Field Trainer is responsible for delivering technical training sessions via classroom, in home and virtual spaces to the intended audience.

 

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering technical training programs pertaining to Hotwire services
  • Evaluate trainees and provide targeted feedback to improve performance
  • Responsible for meeting all training commitments and technician required certifications
  • Collaborate with operations supervisors, technical leaders, business analysts and project managers to determine program topics, skills and knowledge to develop and teach
  • Responsible for preparation of training material and or presentations
  • Mentor new employees in the subject matter, content and technical knowledge
  • Provide feedback and coaching to trainees

  • Continuously research and learn new technologies, and expand depth of understanding with known technologies
