Bilingual Collections Specialist Fort Lauderdale

The incumbent will perform day-to-day collections activities related to residential retail customers. These activities will include outbound/inbound telephone calls & e-mails to collect full outstanding/past-due balances. Also, the incumbent could potentially negotiate and set-up payment arrangements to establish different payment solutions after examining each borrower’s financial situation.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the collection of past-due residential retail customer invoices by contacting such customers to inform them of the delinquency that needs to be cured.
  • Negotiate the best possible payment arrangement if the balance cannot be paid in full. The negotiation process involves reviewing the account information in the billing/collections systems.
  • Work with customers in order to better understand the perceived obstacles to avoid problems collecting future payments.
  • Ability to research and reconcile remittance to balance A/R efficiently.
  • Maintain call quality and productivity measurements.
  • Follow all Federal, State, and Local laws for FDCPA.
  • Maintain a positive problem-solving approach and relationships within a team environment including internal departments and customers.
  • Handle weekly and monthly reporting to direct supervisor.
  • Meet defined department goals and activity metrics.
  • Abide by internal department policies & procedures.
  • Understanding of A/R Aging reports.
  • Communicate collections issues to management.
  • Work with other departments to resolve and collect payment for disputed charges.
  • Assist with other collections activities such as referring accounts to third-party agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2+ years of retail collections experience.
  • High-school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree is a plus.

Purpose Statement:

The primary responsibility of the Commercial Technical Support Specialist is to support Fision Enterprise Customers in voice, data, alarm, and video services along with end user support. Under general supervision, in a 24/7 in-bound call center environment, the incumbent will provide technical and network problem resolution to end-users (customers) or their IT staff by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls from Fision Enterprise Customers or their IT staff
  • Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services
  • Gather customer’s information and determine the issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving internet connectivity, email clients, IPTV, various VOIP devices to include Adtran, Audiocodes, ADIT, and more
  • A strong knowledge of Business Trunking, IP Telephony and IP PBX and key systems with voicemail, auto attendant and PoE switching
  • Redirect problems to appropriate resource while maintaining ownership
  • Perform outbound follow up calls to Fision Enterprise customers, vendors and IT staff to verify services and take additional troubleshooting steps or to obtain additional information
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
  • Proper phone etiquette

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct background clearance, reference checks, employment verifications, and set-up pre-employment testing and screenings.
  • Process all new staff hires including new hire paperwork, communication of welcome information, travel itineraries and new hire orientation for all locations.

Bilingual Launch Account Manager

 Must be bilingual in English and Spanish

This role will be client-facing and handle newly signed accounts once they break ground with New Construction throughout the launch project – this will require hands-on account management, collaboration with various internal departments, and on-site interaction with developers and senior level stakeholders. Business Development Executive Miami-Dade County

Purpose:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging prospects and securing Bulk agreements within multi-dwelling (MDU) and single family home (SFU) communities in the assigned geographic footprint. The BDE’s primary focus will be on our Fision Home residential products and services, but may also work with our Fision Stay and Fision Work divisions as cross-functional opportunities arise (i.e. Mixed-Use or Condo-Hotel properties).

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage an assigned territory of potential MDU and SFU communities for the purpose of generating leads, maximizing prospects, and securing new agreements.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned lead generation and sales quota.
  • Conduct presentations to property managers, boards of directors, developers, consultants or decision makers tasked with choosing telecommunications services.
  • Create proposals or respond to RFP questionnaires in a timely manner. Provide professional, consistent, and immediate follow-up on all business opportunities.
  • Work closely with our legal team to ensure contracts are created in line with the negotiated business points. Ensure contracts are delivered timely and within expectations set by new clients.
  • Attend community events, tradeshows, business development associations, and networking events for potential business opportunities.
  • Work with the marketing and event team to fulfill amazing sales demonstrations and tours. This includes collateral, giveaways, refreshments, entertainment, transportation, and logistics.
  • Be a subject matter expert on the competition within the market and changing trends that affect our business locally.
  • Be heavily involved in the launch process when a new community enters into an agreement with Hotwire. Working with the launch team, ensure that new projects are managed to the expectations set during negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.
  • 3+ years in a business development role within the telecommunications industry.
  • Previous experience in selling telecommunications services and negotiating long term agreements.
  • Outdoor sales experience and/or current contacts within the local property management/real estate/developer marketplace a plus.
  • Must be energetic, self-motivated, hungry to succeed, and able to work independently within company guidelines.
  • Must be flexible, proactive, and able to present to clients in a professional and effective manner.

Cable & Satellite TV Technician/Installer

The Cable & Satellite TV Technician/Installer is responsible for quality installation practices including upgrades, disconnects and troubleshooting of all existing Hotwire services including IP and RF-based video, voice and internet. Must have experience with DISH and/or DIRECTV.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Fiber optic troubleshooting with 1310, 1490 and 1550 nm wavelengths
  • IP and LAN troubleshooting and solution methodologies
  • Router, Access point, Bridge and Wi-Fi administration
  • Performs reconnects, requested and non-pay disconnects, and changes of service, while adhering to: Hotwire Communications procedures and safe work practices in order to provide (or remove) services to the customer
  • Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience installing, testing and troubleshooting cable, phone and internet
  • Must have Fiber Optic Cabling experience
  • Must be proficient using small hand tools and larger power tools
  • Must be comfortable working on a ladder and all heights
  • Ability to install all types of CAT5/CAT6 drop wire
  • Ability to install connectors on CAT5/CAT6 drop wire

Purpose Statement:
The primary responsibility of the Commercial Account Specialist is to support Fision Work Customers in voice, data, alarm, and video services along with end user support. Under general supervision, in a 24/7 in-bound call center environment, the incumbent will provide technical and network problem resolution to end-users (customers) or their IT staff by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review contract-related deliverables  and ensure compliance; additional services are communicated internally and included in addendums; identify opportunities to provide additional billable services at FisionPlus rates

Fiber Splicer Technician

 

Position Summary: Fiber Splicer Technician is responsible for the installation of new cable lines, both underground and on utility poles, and also performs maintenance on existing cables, including evaluation tests and repair. The Fiber Splicer Technician will prep and splice fiber optic cables, locate problem areas and perform other repairs as needed. Will also install and maintain network systems for private lines and determine solutions for any issues preventing the service from operating normally. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record. Candidate must be able to work overtime, nights and weekends.

  • Install and maintain transmission and reception equipment for FTTH network
  • Proficient with fusion splice machine
  • Proficient with fiber connector prep and installation

  • Initiates test and turn-up procedures with System Engineers in accordance with Hotwire compliance standards
  • Collects and interprets engineering documentation, to include schematics, fiber management systems and performance OTDR reports
  • Supports Field Maintenance, IT, Regional Engineering and any other department as related to fiber network
  • Performs on-call rotation as required by standby coverage schedule
  • Provides demand and preventive maintenance for fiber network & FTTH
  • Maintains proper network documentation on changes and upgrades
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

  • High school diploma or recognized equivalent is required
  • SCTE certification a plus
  • 2-5 years field experience in fiber splicing & restoration
  • Fiber optic splicing experience is a must

Field Operations Supervisor

Purpose:

The Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating the overall installation and service activities for a team of Technicians in the Southeast Florida Region. Responsible for team management, effective resource utilization and ensuring sufficient skills, training and equipment are available for Installation/Service Technicians to successfully complete service orders and trouble tickets in a timely manner.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all safety and associated duties pertaining to Hotwire services, activation, and maintenance. Must lead by example.
  • Responsible for meeting commitments to customers and following up to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for applying adopted company policies, operational practices and coordinating training to enable successful service installations.
  • Responsible for preparation of customer sites for services by completing pre-inspections and making necessary arrangements with builders, property managers, and community residents.
  • Responsible for installation and service of all company offered products utilizing company processes and systems.

The Operations Service Technician is responsible for quality installation practices including upgrades, disconnects and troubleshooting of all existing Hotwire services including IP and RF based video, voice and internet. Must have experience with DISH and/or DIRECTV.

  • Fiber optic troubleshooting with 1310, 1490 and 1550 nm wavelengths.
  • IP and LAN troubleshooting and solution methodologies
  • Router, Access point, Bridge and Wi-Fi administration
  • Performs reconnects, requested and non-pay disconnects, and changes of service, while adhering to: Hotwire Communications procedures and safe work practices in order to provide (or remove) services to the customer
  • Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience installing, testing and troubleshooting cable, phone and internet
  • Must have Fiber Optic Cabling experience
  • Must be proficient using small hand tools and larger power tools.
  • Must be comfortable working on a ladder and all heights.

  • Ability to install connectors on CAT5/CAT6 drop wire

Property Support Specialist

Quality Control Technician

Location: Naples, FL

Purpose: 

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for quality installation practices and customer training during installation of Hotwire services including video, voice, and internet

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for quality assurance inspections of head end facilities, OSP fiber, and installation practices during installation of Hotwire services launches including video, voice and internet
  • Ensures all installation work is done according to company quality standards
  • Performs necessary repairs
  • Facilitates field training for technicians on all Hotwire installed products and services
  • Assists with on-site inspections and personal protective equipment (PPE) inspections of technicians
  • Works closely with installation team to ensure ongoing quality installs
  • Maintains a safe work environment by following safe practices and adhering to safety policies. This includes practicing safe driving techniques
  • Updates and improves job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, and reading technical publications
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of all industry accepted standards and practices including IEEE, NEC, TIA, EIA, Bell core, BICSI etc.
  • Experience working with fiber optics, Ethernet, and RF architectures
  • Follow Installation best practices / delivery methods of voice, data and video services
  • Ability to trouble shoot video, telephone and internet problems from any telecommunications mark to customer premise equipment
  • Ability to configure, customers computers for internet operations
  • Ability to test and tone all drop wires from equipment room to end user location
  • Must have valid driver’s license and transportation
  • Must be able to work with or without direct supervision
  • Must be able to work overtime, nights and weekends
  • Must be proficient at using small hand tools and larger power tools.  Must be comfortable working on a ladder and all heights

Residential Sales Specialist

Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to increase revenue penetration in the existing buildings Hotwire services as well as maximize initial sales penetration for new construction and overbuild launch properties and/or communities. Our vision is to re-visit existing communities to increase Hotwire’s revenue and penetration, via targeted marketing & sales campaigns. Revenue and Penetration objectives will vary by community type and other metrics identified at the start of the campaigns. Our mission also involves being Brand Ambassadors and solidifying Hotwire’s positioning in the industry.

  • Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Identifies up-selling opportunities by identifying residential prospects in assigned community events, evaluating their needs, and selling a Hotwire solution for those needs.
    • Participates in setting targeted community sales & product strategy by remaining current on competitive offers, industry trends, and market activities. Prepares assigned sales reports on a daily basis and provides feedback to enhance sales process.
    • Maintains quality service by selling appropriate solutions in keeping with Hotwire’s standards and identified Revenue and Penetration objectives.
    • Maintains product and technical knowledge by engaging in group discussions, attending weekly sales meetings, and educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal relationships and embracing best practices.
    • Contributes to team effort by leading in assigned secondary focus area and accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Works with and in support of community Account Manager and other team members as required to exceed sales goals.

    • Working knowledge of related disciplines in customer support operations, i.e. Launch Operations, Call Center, Field Operations, Telecommunications and Network Operations.

Senior Escalation Technician

Purpose Statement:
Senior Escalation Technician is the most senior level technician with advanced technical skills.  With strong knowledge of IPTV/VOIP, CAT 5/6, Networking, Wireless and fiber troubleshooting. The SE Technician identifies, evaluates and resolves residential and commercial service affecting issues from the OLT to on premise devices.   The SE Technician is the  point person within the technician level to perform advanced troubleshooting to ensure ‘white glove” service is delivered effectively.

  • Perform Troubleshooting, Analysis and takes Corrective Actions on complex service affecting issues originating from the OLT through to all connected devices.
  • Provides leadership and mentoring to lower level technicians and utilizes previous technical issue identification to develop processes and training to reduce re-occurrence.
  • Demonstrates Proficiency and Complete Understanding of FTTH systems and all related home components delivering Video, Data, Voice and Security Services as well as residential Wi-Fi and home networking.
  • Demonstrates proficiency of fiber optic and IP delivery theory.
  • Demonstrates proficiency of cable system operations, modern telecom video, voice, security, monitoring and data products and services.
  • Demonstrates proficiency of different cables, optical fibers, and cabling techniques.
  • Demonstrates proficiency of optical fiber construction.
  • Demonstrates proficiency of technical mathematic concepts,
  • Demonstrates proficiency in computer hardware, software and the Internet and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve related service failures.
  • Working knowledge of IP,  RF and optical test equipment and analyzers.
  • Demonstrates proficiency when using test equipment, with signal meters, butt-sets, power meter and power source light, and other typical tools and test equipment.
  • Ability to read general system layouts from as-built maps.
  • Compliant with safety procedures and requirements.

Service/Cable TV Technician

Position Summary:

The Service/Cable TV Technician is responsible for quality installation practices including upgrades, disconnects and troubleshooting of all existing Hotwire services including IP and RF based video, voice and internet. Must have experience with DISH and/or DIRECTV.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Customer activation of fiber optic telecommunication installation in subscriber homes including Single Family, Condo and Apartments in various locations including pulling low voltage wire.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must have minimum of 3 years’ experience in installing and testing cable, phone and internet
  • Ability to install all types of CAT5/CAT6 drop wire
  • Ability to install connectors on CAT5/CAT6 drop wire
  • Ability to install customer premise equipment including digital converters
  • Ability to trouble shoot IP issues from any telecommunications demark to customer premise equipment
  • Ability to configure customer PC for internet operations
  • Ability to test and tone all drop wires from equipment room to end user location
  • Comfortable working on a ladder and all heights
  • Responsible for preparation of customer sites for move in by completing a pre-inspection, and making necessary arrangements with builders, Installation Technicians and or customers.
  • Responsible for installation of all company offered products thru accurate and timely installation
  • Responsible for meeting commitments to customers and following up to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Prior technician/installation work experience with Fiber, Dish Network/Direct TV.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Must adhere to company specified dress code of khaki pants and button down or polo shirt on a daily basis.
  • Valid driver license and transportation
  • Proficiency using small hand tools and larger power tools
  • Must be able to work with or without direct supervision
  • Ability to work an On-Call Schedule

Training Specialist

Purpose Statement:

The primary focus of this role is to provide comprehensive education and training to internal departments. This includes new-hire and recurring training with knowledge testing.

 

The Training Specialist will be a professional face of the company and at times will be required to meet with outside vendors in an effort to qualify various training initiatives as directed by supervisor.   • Assist in development of internal training classes corporate-wide (Departmental)
  • Confers with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies
  • Coordinate with department heads to collect and assess education and training opportunities to decrease call center volumes and/or increase company-wide efficiencies
  • Work with outside vendors as needed to assess programs/software applications/delivery systems/etc. that will help meet the training and developmental needs of the company
  • Collaborate with cross functional department leaders to establish curriculum as needed for departments company wide
  • Work with different levels of employees throughout the company
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
