2003
Construction begins on Fiber-to-the-Home network.
2006
First IPTV headend in Florida is installed and becomes one of the first companies in the U.S. to offer IPTV Video.
2009
Service installations in single-family home communities begins.
2012
Hotwire purchases its biggest competitor, Connexion Technologies, and doubles the size of the company.
2013
Hotwire invests in state-of-the-art Microsoft Mediaroom middleware. New TV Platform provides best-in-class TV service offered in the U.S.
2014
First and only company in Florida to offer Gigabit bandwidth speeds. Lights up Atlanta and Naples markets.
2016
Relocated our corporate headquarters to Fort Lauderdale, FL, creating 375 new jobs and investing more than $27 million into the local community.
2017
Ranked the Fastest ISP in the World by Netflix. Awarded Fastest Gaming ISP for Quality & Speed by PC Mag. Debuted Alexa functionality, Voice Remote, and streaming service to consumer devices.
2018
Offering 10 Gbps Residential Internet for the first time.
2019
Opened First Storefront in Salisbury, NC. Provided support to the Cornerstone Learning Center in Trenchtown, Jamaica.
2020
Launched Hotwire’s charitable arm “Empowering Communities Foundation”. Named Cablefax’s Independent Operator of the Year.
2021
Investment of growth capital by the Blackstone Group.
2022
Named fastest internet service provider in the southeastern U.S. by PC Magazine.
