In cooperation with the Bob Marley Family, the Hotwire Communications’ wireless team took our talents to Trenchtown, Jamaica—where 100% of the community lives below the poverty line—inspiring us to provide free Internet and Wi-Fi service to the entire community through the foundation’s new Cornerstone Learning Center. Dedicated as a community hub where Trenchtown residents can do schoolwork or learn new technology and coding skills, the donation of Internet service equipment, installation, and laptops will become an open access resource for all to enjoy in and around the center. Having access to the Internet means this small, impoverished community now has a global reach.
