Boca Raton, Florida, October 17, 2018. After more than one year of development and construction, the power of gigabit speed fiber optics will now be possible for members of the Jewish community making them one of the most technologically advanced non-profit agencies in the nation. As final installations are now complete at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County (JFSPBC), the thousands of guests, residents, and students visiting the campus daily require a reliable and robust network to deliver Internet and telephone services to the over 17 buildings and agencies within the organization’s campus and offsite locations.

As the exclusive provider to the Toby and Leon Cooperman Sinai Residences of Boca Raton, Hotwire Communications maintained a strong business relationship with the community that eventually led to the expansion of the entire federation campus and all of its facilities. Selecting the fiber optic broadband company for the expansion to the entire Jewish community was a natural progression due to the success of the Sinai Residences. In an interview after the initial contract signing, Chief Operating Officer of the JFSPBC Mel Lowell said, “Hotwire’s individuals were easy to work with, the costs were reasonable, the [contract negotiations] were easy, and it’s proven to be an accurate decision.”

“This is now one of the most significantly sized projects in the company’s commercial history, and we are thrilled that the expansion is now complete at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County,” said David Ramos, Executive Vice President of Fision Enterprise at Hotwire Communications. “The project itself was a major overhaul of their infrastructure including outside fiber, inside cabling, multi-gig bandwidth, a new companywide PBX phone system, campus Wi-Fi, and video services.”fiber optic

Spanning across a 100-acre campus, the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County is an umbrella organization of varying programs and communities designed to provide support, services, and amenities to Palm Beach County residents. Over 130,000 people utilize their facilities with assistance ranging from fundraising, leadership training, education, housing, assisted living, and medical needs, plus overseas funding of organizations and projects that provide essential to life benefits around the world.

Visitors and residents of the campus will get the opportunity to experience the power of gigabit Internet speeds through Fision Fiber Optics powered by Hotwire Communications in common areas and buildings including the Donna Klein Jewish Academy, Adolph and Rose Levis Jewish Community Center, Unicorn Children’s Foundation and many more. The services will also now serve as a model for other Federation affiliates throughout the country.

“Now more than ever, we’re a global community thanks to the limitless potential that comes through the Internet,” said Carl Lender, Executive Vice President of Fision Home Customer Experience. “The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County assists not just local citizens, but those affected by tragedy or hardships around the world. Our redundant, fiber optic connections ensure every organization at the Federation campus will be online and connected with a reliable signal that’s able to handle the strain of thousands of users accessing the network at once.”
